September 2 is it for me, here in IL. We plan on goin out to the river(MISS) and hammering some geese and any teal that get in the way. Biggest problem we have is being loaded for teal #4's and chuck 'em out and reload when the geese come in. Them teal are just to fast to change shells....what do you guys do?

Burn'em with goose loads, shoot up all last years left overs. Then tell the wife your out of shells and go buy a fresh case.

I carry two guns, one with tealie loads & an improved, and one with goosey loads with a patternmaster. Same thing during duck season, one with duck loads, one with goose loads. Also, T's through an extray full goosey choke will smack hell outta duckie crips. Dont know bout yur state, but i checked in Ar & MS and was gave a thumbs up about the legailty, and have been ckd in both states with 2 guns, no problem. travis

Goosebruce, thats exactly what I do too.
I got the 1187 loaded with 3" 4's and the bennelli loaded with 3 1/2" 1's. That pretty well has em covered. Now I don't always pickup the right gun in allthe excitement http://188.8.131.52/ubb/smile.gif
Goose huntin' is the best but I Go4Ducks2 (http://sites.outdoorsite.com/outdoors/go4ducks2)
