So how has the hunting been since you went home for the holidays? I have not been goose killing since last Friday and have not duck hunted but one day (Monday night) in the past week.

Certainly saw a large number of birds in west Wichita (central to Maple) while I was at the folks house this weekend. They were calling my name!!.....shoot me...shoot me!BS:

What's the deal with this frickin system??? I have been stuck on 57 posts for the last 4 posts!

12-26-2002, 04:52 PM
Not sure what the deal is with your post count...

I didn't get back home til Monday afternoon, there are a ton of birds around, but all the birds going north of town are going to the same field and the farmer won't let us hunt because he thinks it is too close to Valley. He lets us hunt all his other land but not where there was no less than 2000 birds this afternoon. I have never seen so many geese in a field before. :ST:
