I called into the hotline Friday night and reported the band. The lady couldn't give me any info but said I should recieve my certificate within three weeks. I'll let you know where the bird was banded and how old it was when I get the certificate.

Congrats on the band.
You got sent to the overcall people and they don't have access to the data bases. If you want to find what state and what year it was banded in you can call 301-497-5945. It looks like a new 1-800 Band, which would probably have been banded in the last 3 years. The band I got two weeks ago was banded in SD in July 2002. Haven't got the cert back yet.

01-16-2003, 09:24 PM
I will be bringing the trailer and it's loaded. 10 doz. foots, 18 hardcores, doz. real-geese pro's and, 5 doz. custom painted windsocks, and some odds and ends. If you have a water hole I have 33 bigfoot floaters I could bring. As far as bands I think I have had my luck for the year but another wouldn't hurt.:wak:
01-17-2003, 02:18 AM

Just heard that we are going to have 15mph wind saturday. what could be better, BIG spread, lots of geese, and now wind.
I better be getting that hardware instead of ryan. I havn't gotten any this year, and Ryan has two, Joe has one, Brian has one, and Martin got one. Its my turn :CY: :CY: :CY:
The roads are clean of snow up here not,so I think we should make it ok

I hope that wind is coming out of the south in the morning, it just couldnt get any better than that
The snow geese were out there again this morning and I also saw about a 100 setting just north of town a few miles. They were plopped right down in the middle of a wheat field. The first thing I thought was "anyway to sneak them bastages"
01-17-2003, 08:40 AM

" Tomorrow: Few morning flurries, otherwise clouds and some sun. Windy and cold. Hi: 33 Wind: NW 15-35"
Get ready boys:wak: :wak: :wak: :wak: :wak: :wak: :wak:
