I have 5 Higdon Full bodies pretty old and the paint is pretty worn and gray. I was wondering what color paint should i get and what kind to repaint them. My buddy has a airbrush gun he never uses and i thought about borrowing it to use is that the best way to paint them or is hand painting better to get the detail on them?

You can use a brush, and get pretty good results, but you'll find that it will look to straight edged.. Using an air brush, you can fether one colour into the next and blend colours to get the effect you want. If you paint them by brush, try dry brusing the last colours on.. you'll have better luck in mixing them together..
See the article Flipper posted for air brush tec. If you friend has an airbrush you can borrow.. practise a bit with it and remember to go slow with the paint.. you can always add more, but taking away is a bit tricky.
Just my 2 cents
