Check this out!
Called a group of canada's in yesterday and killed a triple. ALL BANDED!!! I repeat- ALL BANDED!!!!!:uh: :uh: :uh:
All 3 pigs laying there with jewlery on them!! What are the odds of that? 2 numbers are close and I assume a breeding pair, the other is an older band.
Back on em tommorow.

Ducksbane,

I did the same 3 days after Christmas this year. All 3 of mine were banded the year before, less than 10 miles away. That's the first year that they've even banded geese there.

Congratulations guys.

My buddy and I earlier this year killed 2 geese flying together and they were both triple banded!

Neck, and tarsel matched and other tarsel was a avise and they were banded july of 2001 in Virginia.

Got the band info back:

2 I assume where a breading pair. Male and female banded together near Crystal Lake CT in 00. Born that year.
Here is the kicker the 3rd bird was a male banded near crystal lake in 96 and born in 95 or earlier.
Got to wonder how many where banded in that flight? Good chance atleast the males mate was. Wish I had more shooters that day. :CL:

DD needed ya that day! Would have been jewlery everywhere man!! Would have been worth getting covered in that loon shit!
