Guys whats the best spot on the east coast to shoot a mature fully plumed pintail for the wall? Pick only one spot and share a few dwtails about that spot. I need one for my living room!

Guys I'm sure there are a few spots from the Del-Marva south. But if it was me I would head to the Low Country or South Carolina.I lived there for 3 years. And when I hunted the public areas around the ACE Basin.I would see a good number going in to the private hunt clubs.
My second choice would be Florida.Remember seeing a video w/Flip Pallet. And there were a lot shown in the video.Hope this helps.

If you want to travel, come down to Deal Island. Last time I was there we shot 26 in two days. All but 3 were drakes. Full plumage. There was a season this year here in MD for them. (I don't know why). You can get some niced drakes down there.

You can kill them in the Carolinas but if you want to do it right and want really nice birds go to Mexico - there is no substitute. I have been the last 5 or 6 years and have always had great hunts.

Thanks Todd - you can kill 20-30 long-sprigs per person per 3-day hunt down in ole Mexico!! They are all fat and in full plumage.
