Tried that recipe with the cheese and peppers it works great on venison too.
I can't get that reed to flip that quick in the skipper I'm gonna move it to another favorite call.

Venison MMMMMMM good thinking!
Do you have it stuffed as close to the front of the tone channel as possible without hangin it up. It should work well in that call as it has mag clucker guts.
Was that recipe better with venison or duck. It also works well with goose. I slice them paper thin then roll the creamcheese/jalapeno in the middle.
Mike B- glad ya liked it. Its the only way my wife will eat.:BZ:

I didn't try it with the duck yet. i was in the mood for venison. I cut the steaks about an inch thick and butterflied them, put aout a tablespoon full of the cheese and then the bacon around, cooked them to rare as you said. try it. If you don't have any deer meet let me know.
I got the reed up on the tone board as far up as I can with out hangging it up. I'll play with it a little more and let you know.
