cork question

anything I should know about painting cork decoys? Sealant etc.? Just picked up 1/2 dozen bodies and heads and want to make sure I do it right.

I made some a few years ago and I just sealed them up good whith a Spar Urathane.Painted whit a oil primertinted gray and painted them whith latex paint they held up real good.

Val-Oil by Valspar. Two coats will seal a cotton ball.
