I know these are not geese but all my painted geese are locked up in storage back at the river. These are just the BLD molds and my painting. We hunt a bunch when it freezes up and i needed some good looking duck decoys for the ice shelves. Let me know what you think.....but be gentle! hehe

looks pretty good
are those the fullbody molds? I am very interested in making some. How much would a dozen cost to do? Also, how easy is it?

those look really good man! did you use the paint kits the bld sells also? if not, what paint kit did you use?
i am really interested in making about 2 doz to use on the ice with my foots. those would be dynomite on the late season mallards.
also, what are you going to do for feet? is it possible to make a free standing design like a big foot or are you going to have to stake it into the ground? maybe somthing like what the hardcore decoys use would be sweet!!

ya they are molds. I dont have the talent to carve anything like that. The paint is just a arcylic latex put through a airbrush. The foam is not to expensive but they molds is where you get hammered. As for the stake systems I have two different styles that I can intercahnge on them. One for shallow water and the other for field/ice hunting.

i really like the paint jobs. Did you buy a kit or could you elaborate on the color scheme? Also, did you just prime and paint em? Post a pic of your stake systems if you get a chance and wouldn't mind. Thanks! Nice decoys.

Nice paint job! Now what are you using fior stakes ? are you using two and are you putting the orange plastic sleeves on them and if so where do you get it and can you get gray? I have made about three dozen and all are painted in penny hen and gads to be used in Canada
