The pic makes em look a little off, but I think you get the idea. I would like everyone to give me a thought on what they think would make the dekes look more realistic.
I am using a different painting method on em, and I dont know what to think. Thank you for any advice!

Nick I think that they look damn good myself. I am just getting started on mine and I hope that they come out as good as yours.:TT: . The detail on the backs of the Higdons looks awasom and I am sure that the BF looks as good as well just can't see it as well due to the angle. Good color though .... not to brown and not to grey. Keep it up !:BZ: :wak:

I would place them a little farther away from the hedges....Although resident geese can be bold sometimes, IMO they tend to give some distance to areas such as hedgerows, bushes, etc that may conceal a vicious stray cat or other preditor:Rich:
Seriously though, those things look damn good to me!!

Lookin pretty good Nick. I did the same thing you did & put the gray in . Then compared it with foots done without the gray & now I leave the gray out.

Marcus and Corys paintjob! :Rich: The color is a problem in my eyes but keep it up and it will come!
Hey Nick, They look alot better than the first ones you did. You have kept us posted on your steady improvement. The most important thing is that it looks like you are have a big time finding new color schemes and ways to do it.
I wish I had the time and talent to do that.
Just keep on posting your lastest and have a good time painting.

Hey Bob , DUCKBANE said that the way you call you don't even need decoys much less the plastic stuffers like Nick has painted.
