Here is one of many we got so far.

So far, we have banded @ 1500 geese and have 3 more days to go.:cool:

Wow, that looks like how Quack Addict hunts them - but usually his are Grey(the tame kind). He goes up to a farm and herds them in to a cage and "takes" them!:JW:

Woodie - awesome pic, hopefully a few of those make it up this way... so I can watch Dr. Bob shoot it! BWAAAAAHAAAAAAAAA

If any of you boys want to try your hand at it, call your DNR and I am sure they would be happy to have some assistance. Lots of knowledge flowing with all the biologists out there. That particuliar day, we banded @ 400 geese.

You Northern boys go ahead and band some and they might just get mixed up with the migrants on their way south.:WC: :WC:

Are they triple banding any of those geese, last year on the potomac we killed 2 triple banded geese and they were banded in virginia, a year before.

White neck and tarus white and other was avise band

Not this year. We did have about 10-15% recaptures. The band number was recorded and they were released. Did have few with some neck bands, though.
