I will either ise a couple bungees cords, with my deocy bags and gear...or One of those cargo bars that spread across the width of the truck bed......

thanks guys - the "Diesel Man" spends more time in the truck than in the crate too, but he is gonna need a place all his own when he is covered with marsh mud and/or cornfield clay.

Yeah I have to admit Ol Chopper doesnt see the crate at all but my friends all use the methods I spoke of.The front seat is there place to be no matter how muddy.....but then Im not driving a $40,000 rig into the field.

Though my YLF hasn't seen a hunting season yet.(19 days and counting for her to retriev her first goose). I have been securing her crate in the back with ratchet straps. When it gets colder I plan on putting her crate in the back seat and having her back there coming and going from the marsh/field. I bought some of those waterproof seat covers as to not ruin the material on the seat.
