Bigfoot floater heads...

Hey guys, I need to flock my floaters this week, but I can't figure out how to remove the heads without mangling them. Anyone take these off yet and have a safe method?

Have a client throw them while holding the neck. they come off then for sure. I would just try to pull and pray?

Pull and twist. that has always worked for me, but having a client throw them always seems to work as well.
