Was driving home from work yesterday and was coming home a backway - thru a road that goes past a farm that the owner maintains for waterfowl (he is about as anti- hunting as they come). There were a ton of canada's but as I was driving I noticed some white in a flock. I pulled up along the road and got my binocs and what do I see- about 15 snow geese! There were some adults but they were a bunch of juv'es that were "blue/white". Very cool - Snows in my parts are kinda of rare so it was a very cool sight!

Bones I saw snows in 2 different locations in the NW corner of the state. Its cool to see them here.

DD Thats great you had an opportunity to whack'em.:wak:
Did you get into the ducks yet. I have not been to lucky yet.

DB Swanton sounds like another Quinnipiac River on the opener. :CL:

We have a young snow hanging out with a flock of Canadas up he It is all by himself so he must have zigged when he should have zagged !!
We don't see many of these (only the 4th one I have seen in 26 yrs !!)
