VA geese

does anyone here hunt northern VA around Mount Weather or anywhere in Loudon county?
My grandparents live out there on a 600 acre farm that has a ton of turkey and deer, with a lot of geese in the area and I was hoping to maybe shoot some when I get out there in late dec. I dont have any decoys though and thought I might be able to hook up with someone.

Never hunted up there, but did band about 400 geese this summer up that way with the DGIF. I got the decoys if you got the place. I am out here in MO till mid December going to school. Give me a shout if you are interested and I might be able to turn you on to some Faquier county geese as well, just got to see what their pattern is when I get back. PM me if you are interested.

thanks woodie... it is all about patterning these geese as I have found in the last few tries out there to pass shoot one for x-mas dinner. They dont seem to use the same fields all the time so it can be a guessing game but there are a lot of geese.
I'll keep in touch with you as it gets closer and I get a better idea of the situation.
