Sorry about the bogas info on 11b. I got the info from a buddie whom said he was scouting that part of the refuge for me. Mike is correct in that 11b ISN'T flooded. I hunted it on Thursday and didn't pop a cap. Man I am starting to hate that walk!!!!! If you guys come up in the next week to hunt check out the Tule side and also the east side of LK. I have been hearing that the Space Blinds have been shooting ok.

Also if ya need or want someone to share a blind with let me know. My partners are a bunch of lazy asses and don't like to hunt what the can't drive to.

My dad and I were gonna go up and up today thru SUnday but after talking with Mike, we decided to stay home...My Dad's not up for the hardcore standing in mud all day or the 1mile+ walk into 11b...Sounds like alot of birds have moved out, I guess good one day and crappy the next. If it was just me I would have probably gone up. I haven't been up there in a while :bh: Probably go for sure in a few weeks.

It's pretty bad up hear wright now. The outfitter I work for has been doing good on geese, 20 today, but he is hunting probably the best goose property in Southern Oregon/Northern Cali. Hopefully the weather we have been getting will move some more birds down. I went out on the LK this afternoon scouting and am starting to notice more and more Swans moving in. Hopefully some birds will follow them down.

I heard Mike cancelled all his hunts this week. Talk to an Ol fella today that was hunting 8 and they only shot twice. Once at a gady and the other at a spoony. I also ran into Pepper at Wal-Mart and he said the sump over on the Tule side has been shooting ok. I am going to try my luck at the space blinds in the morning.

Ya, I work for Darren when he needs extra help. I usually only guide for him 15-20 days a year. The rest of the time I hunt on my own or with buddies. It's 0815 in the mourning and I already limited on geese (Tule side) 2 specks and a snow and I am already back home. It took me longer to set up my blind than it took me to kill 3. I was solo today so it's not usually difficult to shoot a few.
Heard lots of shooting from 1b so I drove down to check it out. Heard and saw lots of shooting but didn't see any fall (SKYBUSTERS).

Solo hunts are great when everything comes together. Weather looks like its gonna get nasty this upcoming week, could get good. Shot Delevan yesterday with some guys, pretty slow. 5 Mallards/1 Widg/4 geese for four of us. With that wind, I'd thought we'd have a better flight.
