Ice fishing

i hate ice fishing, i guess i have never found the idea of sitting in a little house out in the middle of the lake, 20 below 0 looking at a hole in the ice waiting for the bobber to go down and not catching anything, then having to pack all the s**t up and then leave! i dont know maybe some one can show me the light and help me like this minnesota winter pass time? i would be curious to hear what everyone else thinks of this sport and what you do to kill the boredome!

I catch lots of fish. .:tn: Much less boring that way. But when you cant catch them it does suck. Fortunately I go so much that I rarely have trouble catching fish. Good Luck

I ice fish at a few competions annually if my schedule will allow,and it is always fun and we know the lake so we are usually busy keeping the line clear.:TT: You get some killer tasting fish when the water is cold like that,we fish a spot over the contenental divide and they feed on shrimp .....PINK MEAT !!!!!!!Its worth the drive......:BZ:

i think i would much rather sit in a duck or goose blind at 20 below 0... just my opinion

never really got into the whole ice fishing game.. maybe cause i live were there is not alot of frozen lakes huh..

Been here my whole life Grinder and I would rather be jumping a field approach at 60 MPH on my snowmobile! Got on 110 miles last weekend. Which is 3 times more than I rode in the last two years put together.

Just never got the bug some of my buddies got over this. Some of them don't even fish "soft" water!

yea i think i will stick to hunting coyotes and fox this winter, atleast that way if i dont see anything i can just walk back to the truck and leave. none of that picking up bullsh*t!
