HEAVY MOTHER

I pull a 14 foot enclosed trailer full of bigfoots and blinds. I have a 2001 F350 with a powerstroke I had to put these crazy mudders on the truck because it's the worse off roader I have ever owned
I am not saying it won't pull a house or haul a load of gravel because it will with no problem I just think with the solid front axle( witch kills ground clearance by the way) and that big diesel it's to heavy. This weekend I watched three trucks and one was a suburban and they are no lite weights drive over a frozen puddle and it didn't brake till I drove on it and had to fight my way through it.What do you guys drive and do you pull any trailers in to the fields.

I pull a 6 x 12 enclosed trailer w/ a 02 Chevy 4x4 crew cab w/ out any problems in corn fields. BUT, I was thinking about going to a diesel. Now, second thoughts.

I know exactly what you mean. I drive a 99 dodge 3/4 ton with a cummins. I'm runnin 33/12.50's and it still sinks very bad. A deisel engine is heavy but they usually got enough power to keep your tires cleaned out.

I think your rite the diesel is just to heavy for soft ground I will think about that next time I buy a truck I drive alot and wanted the milage. Guess you can't have your cake and eat it to.
