goose call help

hey fellas kinda new to these sub species. lessers cacklers, etc. what kind do we have on the eastern side of wash. they respond ok to yhe smh but not the super mag which it alot blower in sound and i can't seem to get it higher pitched. so my question is what kinda of calls do you fellas prefer. thanks just tired of not being able to finish of these damn geese!!!!!!!!!!!!!:in: :TT:

Or get a "mini geese" call, like the I-5 KLR (Bill Saunders), Foiles cackler call, or anything else tuned high

They will respond to a giant canada sound but if you want to sound like them just tune a call with a higher pitch

Order a set of guts and the CCC reed from Cliff and tune your SMH for the high pitch sound:cool: I run two smh's on my lanyard, one with foiles guts and the other with cliff's old guts that is tuned really high for those little bastards... Here is some proof it works, I promise...

Like maniac said, the traffic would be awesome. It is one of the best calls on the market. It is a lot shorter and fatter of a call and obviously makes it higher pitched. It is a very diverse call because of that. Ask Bill personally, he has called in cacklers to giants in Canada with his wood traffic.
