View Full Version : Calling Snow Geese

I don't see great numbers of Snow Geese in the area I hunt, but they are starting to be a bit more common. I have read in various publications that Snows are very difficult to call. Have you found this to be the case? Also, what Snow Goose calls are effective?

A few months back I bought Sean Mann's White Out call and like the way it sounds. With a little practice & back pressure you can get what Sean calls "chopped bark". In Sean's opinion, this is the laydown call for snows. Although I've only blown this call in the truck or garage, it screams quite loud but takes a lot of air. Although I haven't blown one, I've also heard Tim Grounds makes a good snow call

Bill Saunder makes a heck of a snow and spec call I have the pic. I will get it up and Bill is sending me a wave file also for it. He blew the call for me today and it sounds great. Will be up as soon as Bill gets me the wave and Barry get the picture up. Hurry Bill!!!!!!!!
