Here is an online guide that should help you out. There is a ton of info if you do a search on the net. When I was trying to learn about snares I typed, snaring coyotes, I found this link and lots of others.

Another great site is to get snaring info from is trapperman.com

There are a bunch of good trappers with a bunch of great info on that site. It is almost as good as this place but for trappers instead of goose killers. Sometimes you got to sift through the BS to get to the good stuff but overall it is a great site too.:cool:
