Hey Bernie - Your STILL Waiting??!!!!:NW: :NW:
There are several gun stores around here that have the new ones in stock!!!!:CF: Didn't get a good look - had to stop in to get Archery supplies - but they seemed pretty cool looking.
I can't believe that you would pay that money and have to WAIT -:CL: :CL:

The gun store called yesterday and I ran down to get it. It is SWEET! This is my first Benelli, and I hope it shoots as good as it looks.
Now one question, this gun takes the same choke as the Optima Plus. Is the Wad Wizard available in this choke? :GM: :Luv:

According to this it isnt the same as an Xtrema. The Wad Wizard is avalible for the Xtrema as thats what I have in mine. Hope this helps.

from what ive been reading my understanding is the only difference is the benelli is ciro treated everything else being the same, wad wizard has it listed as the same choke as the xtrema on there site. which would make me smile if this is indeed the case

I don't know about the Xtrema, but it is the same as the Optima Plus. That is what I have for a turkey choke.

Wacker and Joe, the Xtrema uses the Optima-Plus thread pattern as does the SBE2. So they are indeed interchangeable. The SBE2 has Crio treated tubes and barrel, the Xtrema does not. But the thread patterns are the same, as harvester stated.
There has been considerable confusion over this topic, hope that sheds some light on it.
harvester, how did the SBE2 shoot?? Thoughts, opinions, comments?? :hs:
How bout you QW get to shoot that bad boy yet???:uh:

Check out my reply to the SBE II Thread on the Main Forum. I have some patterning results for it with factory and Wad Wizard Supreme.

I shot 4 shots through it yesterday, all patterns for turkey. I hope to get out this weekend to shoot a round of sporting clays, if it ever stops raining!:CY:
