.....tube yesterday for my SBE II and all I can say is wow! This is a perfectly machined part. Fit and finish is excellent. Much better machine work than on my PM. If it performes as good as it looks, I'll be in goose heaven!:pl: Hopefully I can pattern it and post up some info on it in the next few weeks.

Let me borrow that for about a week to pattern my Xtrema with it. I'll put up my Supreme Wad Wizard out of same gun for collateral. :TT: :TT:

That is the same choke I settled on. I shot it the last part of the season, before I ever did any pattern testing. I shoot 1 1/8 BB 1560 Kents and at 20 yrds 100% and 30yrds 87-89%. But at 40yrds I dont have the pattern density to take those shots unless.....I have in HS than it will definetly work well at 40.

I liked how forgiving it is in closer, if I was slightly off mark when I pulled the trigger I was still getting good solid hits and knocking the birds down. Plus does a good job on ducks in the timber.

are those 3" or 3 1/2" shells? sounds like a smokin load

Those are the 3" version. I had a 3.5 BGH but sold it in favor of the 3" SX2. I havent yet felt undergunned, this load/choke combo accounted for 45+ geese last fall. The 1560 loads are indeed fast, but to be honest "I" cant tell the difference between them and the 1500 Kents.

thanks, jason --- will give those a try this year. glad to hear you like the SWAT QW. You should give the Supreme a try also. I have both and use the SWAT for ducks and the Supreme on honkers. even in close the supreme is great - not too tight like you might imagine!

I originally had the Supreme but sold it in favor of the SWAT. Reason being was I had a very difficult time connecting on the closer shots, and I kept missing some very easy ones. The choke performed great when I did my part....but I felt I was too inconsistent with the Supreme.

You will really like the Kents....very good load combo for geese....really leaves a mark on them

I do use this choke for both birds. I use the BB's for geese and either 2 or 3's for ducks. I havent patterned my duck loads...yet but the seem to work just fine.

It works very well on birds up close, but out around 40yrds it is SOO thin I wouldnt try unless bird was already hit.

Hope this helps.

I hardly ever take my Swat tube out of my Benelli all season long, you will really like it.Pattern a few different loads to see which your gun prefers with the Swat tube..Taverner,I shoot that same load and it really rocks over decoys with the Swat.As long as you stay with the range limitations of the tube,it is one awesome addition to your shotgun.I also have a Supreme, but I strictly decoy shoot,so the Swat tube sees more work.....
