Has any one used the over the counter tick stuff ( like front line )
if so is it worth the savings or not

I use Ivomec pour-on. you can get it at any vet clinic. they use it on cows for an insectacide. it takes very little and last all year long

I'm a frontline user, but I usually apply a tick spray on top of it if the situation calls for it. The frontline isn't as toxic, because it doesn't contain any pesticides like some. I've seen dogs pretty sick from pesticide poisoning.

i use advantix, i have only herd good things about this product and it seems to work! I have used front line also and it a good product also, take a look at gw-smiths post on flea and tick control!

Advantix would be what I would recommend - you can buy it without a prescription from many on-line pet pharmacy sites.
