I have been loooking at the Sure Cycle for an add on to my shotgun. After looking at thier web site and reading the installation instructions i'm confused as hell.
It basically says to take this part out of the STOCK and replace it with thiers. Sounds simple enough but I cant seem to find that part. I think my part is actually in the forearm, but not sure as the instuctions say STOCK. I dont belive there are any parts in my stock that serves as a mechanical purpose (springs and such). Could it have been a typo??
I have an Xtrema 391 model and that is the number that they have listed on thier site. Is my gun compatible?
Anyway I sent them an email thats why i'm on here asking as I have not gotton a response from them yet. hanx Joe

Joe as far as I know the Sure Cycle has not been offered for the X yet. You also are correct the return spring on a X is in the forearm unlike all other guns including the 391 Urika. DD:GM:

Joe I am not aware of any replacement system currently. The X was designed that way for ease of maintance rather than buried in the stock. You know "out of sight, out of mind". :CZ:

Joe, I have talked to Jeff at Sure Cycle about a kit for the Extrema. He said that there was little he could do to improve on the factory system. According to him there are only two springs in the gun that can be replaced, and it is not worth his time to make only two springs. I hope that helps.
