CATFISH $$$

I NJ the catfish don't get as big as they do in the south, but they are worth some money. Since the begining of May we have taken no less than 2nd place in 6 tournaments with our winnings over $6000. The last tournament was the '04 Big Cat Shoot Out, we took 1st and lunker with 27.79(3 fish) and a 12.75 lunker(my biggest) worth $3700, nobody even came close.

I wouldn't announce that to the world, because the real catfishermen from down south may travel that far for a good catfish tournament, especially for that kind of money.

Whatever you do, don't badmouth NASCAR, Highschool football, or bring up the Civil War. (BTW, its called the war of northern aggression to them)

And whatever you do, don't ask for their secret catfish bait receipe. The chances are, its been in the family for generations, contains lots of blood and rotting cheese, and will get your butt kicked for asking about it.:OUCH:

We have a fish in the MW thats called a squa fish. They planted the fish along time ago to rid the rivers of another fish well Guess what? The fish took off and now Fish and wildlife are paying the general public to catch the fish. There is a retired couple and all they do all year long is catch the pike.
