Do you goose hunters like to mix and match your decoys full bodys with silhouettes our do you hunt one or the other? I have heard alot of pros and cons on the subject. I my self have always mixed them up but this year I'm going to try hunting one or the other and see for myself what kind of results I come up with.

I've always kind of mixed my dekes up. I just thought it gave the spread a little more variety. I have hunted the early season with just one or two doz. shells and did great. I haven't noticed a big different from one method to another, but that's just me.
Keep us posted on your results.

I hunt as small as I can get away with. If I can kill geese with six Foots then I do. I like the way a mixed spead looks but use one or the other a fair amount also. I like to change the look of the spread all the time so the birds don't get to used to what I am doing.

We always mix and match on the ground but on the water it seems the geese like to get into the Flambeau pontoon perimeter floaters before they go to the G&H floaters...just our experience since we got the Flambeau's 4 years ago. I know guys that are selling everything they have and only using the Flambeau's(for water that is)

On land I like to use large spreads and mix.If you could use nothing but full bodiess great but how many of us can afford that.I like the flambo for water.Depending on the size of the water i`m hunting I use from 8 decoys to 5 doz.for large lakes.

Fight gun control. It`s hard to kill ducks with a rocks, and you might just keep America free.
