As you can see, I have been a member since 2002 and have never taking the time to post this stuff. Just posted a thread of a bird from this past spring so I figured to enter another picture. This one is a bird I killed last year that made the NWTF record book with a total score of 80 points for the typical category. Takes atleast 70 to be entered. The offical measurements were 25lbs 10oz., and had 11.25" beard. The best features on this bird were his spurs, 39 & 40 mm (around 1.75" each). I decided to bite the bullet and have him mounted, which is not cheap these days. That is the only thing that sucks when you shoot a trophy animal, the money that it takes to put the thing on your wall. Oh well, this is what makes great memories and stories to tell for the rest of your life.

Thanks again for the feedback. This is a pretty sweet way to share stories and pictures with folks from different areas. Going to start using this more often now. Take care and good luck!

I haven't received the bird back from the taxidermist yet. When I do, I will make sure to post some pictures of it. If you guys want to get into some "MOUNTING" pictures, I can definitely come through with those. But first, I will need to ask my girlfriend!:uh:
