:ST: Just wondering if any of you hunters have purchased a Range Finder. This is really related to deer hunting but am wondering if any of you have bought a range finder and what would you recommend for a brand and type? Hope you can help. Lonesome:in:

Hey lonesome duck, i've got a bushnell 400 yardage pro. I've had it 5 years now and have used it bowhunting alot. Very accruate and easy to use, and they have gotten alot more compact. Can't go wrong with the bushnell.:uh:

A friend of mine has the Leica and it was very easy to use. We took it out to my duck blind one day just to see how close we were at estimating the distance to certain objects out in the water. It really gave us a good shooting guide on calling the shots.

:TT: Chalk up another vote for the Leica, just got it about a month ago. Very easy to ues, one button does everything. Very clear view, has a 7x objective. Above all else, it runs on a nine volt batt., no matter where you are on a trip or what ever you shouldn't have trouble finding a nine volt.

My uncles has a Bushnell yardage pro 800. It is awesome. It is pretty intresting to use while duck hunting as well. If you put them on ducks in flight it will get a reading so it is very good at testing you range skills. I am sure Leica would be able to get readings as well if you are intrested they are a lot easier to use.
