Question- how far will shot travel? I know that is pretty open ended, but let's think hypothetically. You are shooting bb's at a flock of geese coming in. Let's say you shoot upwards with a 45 degree angle of trajectory and all your shot misses the birds. How far will the shot travel before it dies and hits the ground? If there is a house 200 yds away will you rain down shot on their tin roof? Anyone know the answer or where to find it?

I emailed Remington with that question a few years back.I cant remember the exact yardage but it was further than 200yds.Im thinking 350 was their reply.

I hope it isn't 350. That seems like a heck of a long way for a little pellet to travel. Anyone know for sure?

wind has a big factor on it but it sure will rain down on the housr 299 yrds away. Never been rained on in a public marsh? I know i have

these were for standard velocity loads
from SAAMI I rec'd the following ranges:
30 degrees is the optimum angle
Pb BBs - 1240 ft
Steel BBs - 990 ft
#2 Pb - 1050 Feet
#2 steel - 875 ft
#4 Pb - 970 ft
#4 steel - 780 Ft
