Kody my 12 year old shot his first deer this morning and an hour later shot his second. Muzzleloader season they have a kids mentor hunt at the boyscout camp. doe only hunt He's definetly pumped up.

Joe - that is terrific!! Some guys go years without killing deer and your boy does it up the first time out! That is certainly outstanding and he should be VERY proud of himself!

Awesome! To get his first AND second in one day - and with a muzzleloader! What an accomplishment:cool: Any info on what kind of muzzleloader? Inquiring minds wanna know.:hest:

He was shooting a 54 caliber renegade 80 grains powder with a round ball

Getting them with a ML is plenty tough, but doing it with a "traditional" style gun and patched round ball is especially cool!:cool: Way to go Kody!:pl:

Kody, Congrats on not only your first deer but on both... You will remember that day with your dad for the rest of your life.. Enjoy the times you share with your dad in the Woods and return the favor to your children one day...:Bull:

Congrat's Kody on a couple fine looking deer. As said, getting them with a traditional muzzle loader is exceptional. :cool:
