Here is the first goose that I ever mounted. (my avitar bird) He has some minor flaws but he's decent. I havn't painted the feet and bill yet but I'll get to it.

Then came turkey season which went very well. I killed one in the youth hunt and two in the first week of the season.
Don't ask about the Jake I thought he was a tom:ST:

After that came salmon fishing which wasn't very good. I still caught two fish in about 10 trips. the first weighed 18lbs and the second weighed 10lbs

We even snuck in a trip to the beach. My brother and I took our fishing rods and it didn't take us long to start catching them.
The first is a good day of Red tail fishing

Then I caught my first lingcod not quite legal but he put up a good scrap

09-15-2006, 01:43 PM

Well I jumped him on the first hike, but he was running through trees that were just to thick. He finally stopped and turned broadside, but all that I could see was his ham and he got away. He was probably 20-22 inches wide and had 4 points. Typical muley for my area. I did kill a badger that tried to charge my buddy and I. Then last night I got my neighbor his first deer. It was just a small fork. I could have killed it, but I want something with some size.
He was happy, and he still has a blacktail tag in December. He got a little exited and shot it in the front shoulder and hit bone. We jumped him once and somebody missed a shot at him. I was getting nervous because it wasn't bleeding at all. We finally saw him when we were walking through some thick reprod and my neighbor finished him.
I'll be out all week today is my only day off so hopfully one nice one will slip up. Did you go out last weekend?
