I was updating some pictures and thought I would share them with you guys. I have been working pretty hard getting ready for a busy fall and winter of hunting. I picked up a couple new rifles, wanted to upgrade some scopes, refinish a couple stocks, float some barrels, that sort of thing. So I got two of them done and ready to start the load process for these two.

The first is a Browning ABolt in 30-06 that I free floated and bedded the action. I refinished the stock with Tru Oil. I installed better Leupold rings and mounts and topped it off with a Cabela's Alaskan guide 4.5x14x52 30mm. The whole rifle weighs right at 9 lbs. I am planning a late January Bull elk hunt that I am finally going to draw after 5 years. I am planning on the old stand by 180 gr RN or 190 gr Berger.

The second is my "Mistress" 7MM Rem Mag. Howa 1500 action, Kreiger Medium Heavy Sporter barrel, Timney Trigger, Glass bedded Boyd stock, I installed Leupold High rings and mounts. I topped it off with a Cabela's Alaskan Guide 4.5x14x50 SF. The rifle weighs in at 12.5 pounds empty but should do nicely as my "deer stand" gun. I plan on running 165-175 Gr SP possible 168 gr Bergers thru it.

I am now going too start in on my Bear rifle. My 673 in 350 Remington Mag. I think I am going to bed the action and float the barrel. I have a Cablea's Alaskan guide Compact 3x12x32 on the way for it should be here by the end of the week. I am thinking 225 gr Speer SP for her.

Oh by the way I hate Cabela's bargin cave. :OUCH: :rof:

I love them! They are a quality scope within their price range. I would compare them to my Leupold VXII or Burris Fullfield II I don't know what they still have left but the bargin cave (on line) had ALOT of diffrent scopes available for half of their usual 300 dollar price tag.
