View Full Version : Four coyotes yesterday.

Yesterday, our group shot 4 coyotes. Pretty good day. :D
This one got shot in the lower jaw on the first shot and then finished off after getting pulled out of the drainage sewer pipe with a hockey stick that he went into after getting shot.
One is missing from the picture. One guy is getting one mounted and left it in the truck.
The group is at 19 coyotes and 1 fox for the year. Here are some of the finished hides.

Oh and i missed a jack that was curled up in the field at like 30 yards haha. I was walking towards it looking down and when I looked up he was already on the run. Got the blood pumping though.

I am a dedicated hunter, but decided long ago, staying married was a higher priority than skinning animals. I did some skinning one time and that was enough for both my wife and I. Great job on the coyotes.

You're killin' me... I can't see the first 3 pics.

Running hounds I presume? I've never done that - I'll bet it's a lot of fun. 4 is a great day!

pics working now? And ya, running hounds. The first yote would not come out of this thick bush, the hound kept running it in circles through the bush before it finally pinned it in one spot and the guy in the bush shot it.

The second bush two yotes popped out and the chase was on. One got shot and ended up in a drainage sewer in a ditch which they got out with a hockey stick and then we chased the other that the other guys went after. Got on that one and it rounded up another yote and there were two running together. We got both.
We saw one more in the morning but it got away on us. So we were 4 for 5 coyotes.
