Not a new recipe but a little different.
Two venison roundsteaks (more or less, twos what I used)
1 med onion
1 package mushrooms (I used shittakes)
black pepper
couple teaspoons season salt
6 pack of Guiness Xtra Stout (4 to drink:VC: 2 for the pot)
8 hours in the pot on low, served with potatoes.
Gonna try it with goose when I run out of deer.
